Montana Festival of the Book a delight, and a fright!

Newsrooms everywhere are filled with wanna-be, coulda-been, might-be-someday novelists. The Missoulian is no exception.

We once had a night-shift cops reporter who collected the bits and pieces of her someday novel in a file folder: lines from court hearings and affidavits, quotes from crime fighters, police reports.
