Happy Thanksgiving to all our families, friends and neighbors here in western Montana and beyond! All of us at the Missoulian wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday. I just finished shoveling the loveliest inch or so of fresh powder off the sidewalk. And yes, I’m thankful today for the snow and cold – [...] On Thanksgiving Day, the Missoulian will embark upon our annual “We Care for the Holidays” campaign – an effort to connect western Montanans in need with their neighbors who have enough to share. Each day until Christmas Eve, we will feature an area nonprofit group and individuals served by the group who have wants and needs [...] In between the turkey and trimmings, Missoulian reporters and photographers have produced an incredible lineup for this weekend’s newspapers. It’s been a tough year for a lot of people in western Montana, and worldwide really, but as Thanksgiving Day approaches it’s also certain we have much to be thankful for.
